The seller positions BreathiZen as a daily liquid for clear airways, easier breathing and lung support. It states that it isn't intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and its own FAQ advises people with asthma, COPD or high blood pressure to check with a doctor.
What's plausible
- Mild, general comfort. Mullein and ginger are traditional soothing herbs; some people find them pleasant for a scratchy throat or heavy chest.
- A routine that nudges habits. A morning ritual can make hydration and healthy routines easier to keep.
- Placebo-sized effects. Breathing comfort is subjective, so expectation plays a part. That's real, but it isn't the same as treating a condition.
What's unproven
- The finished product. We found no published trial of BreathiZen itself.
- The doses. Supportive research uses defined amounts, and none are published.
- Big claims. Statements such as eliminating hidden inflammation or speeding recovery after respiratory crises have no cited evidence.
What it won't do
BreathiZen won't treat asthma, COPD, infection or allergies, and it shouldn't be used instead of an inhaler or prescribed medication. Persistent shortness of breath, wheeze, chest pain or a cough that lasts more than three weeks needs a doctor, whatever you're taking.
